5th Grade - Wood Burned Adirondack Chairs

The class wanted to use flags as the focal point of their design to display the origin of each of their families and cultures from which they have been influenced. Each child burned a flag on each chair with a wood carving tool and was asked to extend the lines of their flag to create a pattern of rhythm.  Finally, they colored only their flags with oil pencils made just for wood.  There will be two chairs up for auction.

Thank you, Tracy & Jackie Probst, for generously donating these lovely Adirondack Chairs.

Value:  Priceless!
Donor:  5th Grade Class
