Mr. Maurer will take a group of 3-8 students and/or parents on a 7 mile day-hike over Stony Mountain and Sharp Mountain. Along the way, you will find "The General," an old steam shovel stuck in the middle of the woods. This will be a moderately difficult hike. Hikers will need to provide transportation and bring water, a lunch and sufficient footwear.
